About this dried peach
Peaches, halved and dried without the stone. No sugar added. Sulphur dioxide (E220) is used as a preservative during drying, helping the colour deepen evenly from pale gold to a burnished amber at the edges. Contains sulphites. The texture stays soft and pliable rather than crisp, with a concentrated, honeyed peach flavour.
Eat it on its own, or add it to desserts, porridge and salads for a bright, fruity note. Packed well, it also makes a good gift for anyone who likes their sweets on the natural side.
Armenia's peach harvest runs through late summer, and we dry each batch within a day or two of picking so the fruit never has time to lose its aroma in storage. The half-moon shape is left as natural as possible — no pressing, no reshaping — so every piece looks a little different.
